SOLD SOLD

Update

The house has been sold to a wonderful couple from Texas.   I hope they get the enjoyment out of the house as we did.  It will truly be missed.

Thank you Olean for always having our back when we needed help on the house.

Best Wishes

The McCannon's

Due to an unexpected and exciting new chapter in our lives we are sad to say that our lovely Victorian home will be going on the market .

7 bedrooms, 2 bath formal dinning, living room, family room, bar room, large city lot, rod iron fence, two story garage. One full walk up attic storage room could be made into another bedroom.

All of the antique furniture on the first floor to include grand piano, all seating, dinning room table chairs, both buffets all curtains through out the house, All area rugs, 6 Christmas trees, all outdoor Christmas decorations, stair case garland, lights, ornaments,to many decorations to mention, 45 foot extension ladder.  snow blower, All original metal work to go back on the house.

Great things are happening around the house.

Olean, NY is revitalizing downtown which will leave this location to be the most desirable once it is finished.

Feel like royalty every time you walk in to this second empire Victorian home built in 1886.

Original hand carved moldings, staircase, and gargoyle fireplace to name a few of the majestic features inside.

Three stories of endless living, downstairs is set up for entertaining and can easily hold up to 70+ people.

50 new energy efficient windows and the windows that were not replaced have new glass and re-glazed.

There are three fireplaces two on the first floor and one on the third floor. The third floor is used as an office, but would make a great guest bedroom.

The tower room is a lovely area to read in or enjoy looking out over the town.

Above the two story garage is a cigar lounge with tongue and groove walls and floor or could easily be converted into a one bedroom apartment.  New roof on the garage 2013.

Full basement with the old coal cellar converted to a wine cellar.

Within walking distance of the best restaurants, barber shop, hair salon, and shopping in town.

Love sports walk to the minor league baseball games in the summer and see the 4th of July fireworks from your back yard.

This home is a historical home and does qualify for restoration funds, but is not limited to the strict guidelines of a historical home.

If you are looking for a unique home with lots of space and character look no further, because you are home.

The house is still being  painted.

The painting on the outside of the house will be finished as soon as the temperatures are warm enough.

If interested in seeing the home you may contact me through the blog or email me (Kim McCannon) directly at mccannonmanor@yahoo.com

Pictures are below to show what the home looks likes during entertaining and everyday living.  There will be more pictures of the others rooms as soon as they are finished.
